(*) Please Note

Minimum 60W power supply. The minimum power requirements are only for the CEX7 module, memory and on board devices. Any additional hardware added such as PCIe devices, USB devices, SATA drives, SFP modules, will all need to be taken into account when sizing your PSU. For most normal applications a 300 Watt ATX PSU is sufficient to handle this, however higher powered PCIe devices may require a larger PSU.

Cable setup and prerequisites

Here is what you will need to power up the board:

  • Linux or Windows PC
  • HoneyComb LX2K
  • DDR4 SO-DIMM memory , tested PNs can be seen here.
  • Power adapter
  • Micro USB to USB for console, the HoneyComb LX2K has an onboard FTDI chip.
  • IP router or IP switch
